Giorgio,

You can get that error if the dhcpd isn't setup properly on your
server.

the dhclient program will attempt to get a response from the server.  If 
it succeeds, then
it will automatically create the dhcpd-eth0.info file and fill it with 
the information
it needs.

If the dhclient program is NOT able to get a response, it will timeout 
without
creating the file.
