Stefan, For LPP to work, the video card must be supported by the linux Frame Buffer console driver.
Not all cards are supported. I've heard recently about some problems with the i810 chipset, which should be supported, but wasn't working. I don't have an i810 system available for testing right now, but I should have one in the next week or so. What kind of video chipsets do you have that aren't working ?
