I'm having a similar problem under RH7.1. When my first LTSP client boots (successfully), I see in /var/log/messages:

Is this a known bug in RH 7.1/xinetd (the search facility on the ltsp-archive seems to be dead?) I am using a etherboot boot image being loaded via rpld. One of the things I have noticed is that I get about 10 tftp requests all at once for the /tftpboot/vmlinux.xxx file.
