Is it bootable from the net?  Either by boot-rom or bios config?   If 
so, the flash is not needed.

Sorry I am such a stickler for having no os on the client until after it 
boots.  But LTSP does not need an OS on the client.  Just more overhead 
and cost.

HEHE.. I have 2 Iopeners in daily use.  One with the whole os. 
<jailbait> and one with ltsp kernel onboard.  IMHO these are not really 
*thin*.

But fun nevertheless.
