I concur. What you want to be loading is a kernel (either custom made or one from LTSP) you can download the kernel RPMs from ltsp.org
The one you want if your running the 2.08 of LTSP is http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ltsp/lts_kernel_ne2000-2.2-0.i386.rpm It will place a file in you /tftpboot/lts dir called something to the effect of vmlinuz.ne2000 Then in your dhcp config replace you line that tells pxebin to load with the vmlinuz.ne2000 and restart DHCP restart you server and BAMMM!!!! -----Original Message----- From: Peter Lister [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, November 19, 2001 6:18 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Ltsp-discuss] Connection help! > ======================================================= > .000021.0000 > Rom segment 0x0800 length 0x4000 reloc 0x9400 > Ethetboot 5.0.4 (GPL) Tagged ELF for [NE*000] > Boot from (N)etwork or from (L)ocal ? This makes no sense. pxelinux and Etherboot are different ways of doing the same thing; you NEVER use them togther. Etherboot boots (NBI packaged) OS kernels; use "filename" in dhcpd.conf to load the appropriate NBI packaged kernel from ltsp.org, NOT pxelinux. _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
