( I do prefer text in the E-mail )

</one_line_tcpdump>

The computer with IP-address 192.168.0.254 answers to the bootp-request.
But that is not crash, otherwise is would say "crash.bootps" and "S:crash"

<expected_line_tcpdump>
14:48:50.003656 eth0 > crash.bootps > 255.255.255.255.bootpc:
xid:0x7063862c Y:client1 S:crash ether 0:10:4b:1c:93:a9 file
"/tftpboo"[|bootp] (DF)
</expected_line_tcpdump>

This is what I get on my network
( mir is a server, fr36 a client,  stappers.breda is the domain name )
Check the ".bootps >" and the "S:"

<one_line_tcpdump>
11:15:23.307482 mir.stappers.breda.bootps > fr36.stappers.breda.bootpc:
xid:0x7063eaed Y:fr36.stappers.breda S:mir.stappers.breda [|bootp] (DF)
</one_line_tcpdump>

Something else:
Crash expects that it is running a domain name server, dns, itself,
but it isn't. ( lo > Crash > Crash: icmp: Crash udp port domain unreachable )
Computer crash is poor configured.

These problems are NOT distrubution related...
