Ragnar, perhaps I've looked in a past messages that,
not only local application is broken in 2.08 but also
local fd and hd.
In any case, and hope it's not a mistake, may be the kernel don't conteining
the module and you must recompile it with ide.o etc..
I suggest you to look for a 2.09 that's very better, I've tested and working
fine also with local printer.
Now I waiting for a suggest to configure properly the HD & Fd, and hope
to solve this question as soon as possible.
My problem is of read and write in a vfat hd the old data without
charge the hd of server!
