Thank you for your reply. We copied a valid /etc/termcap to /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/termcap. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work. We'll look at this later, it's not a major thing for us at the moment.
Anyway, just wanted to thank you and all LTSP folks for a great job with v3.0! With your help we managed to turn our diskless computers to fully functioning development/test hosts.

I would guess that has something to do with either termcap or terminfo.
