I am trying to connect to the network through a serial port of a workstation, there is
a reason for this, so I can connect to the network via ppp on a workstation that is
miles away from the server without running cable all the way back to the server's room.
I guess there are two options, to somehow connect to the workstations serial port as
though it was the serial port of the server and run ppp on the server, or to run ppp
locally on the workstation and do something that way.
Any pointers or suggestions would be welcome, even if it's "forget it, it's not
possible because ..."
