I noticed that the documentation at:
http://www.ltsp.org/documentation/ltsp-3.0.0/ltsp-3.0.html#AEN421

says to create the boot floppy by doing this:
"cat   /tmp/eb-5.0.2-centaur-p.lzdsk   /dev/fd0"
I believe that if you try it this way, it would produce a bad boot 
floppy.

Start with a fresh floopy and try this:
cat /yourimage.lzdsk > /dev/fd0
