Hi Sean,

I assume you're talking about the workstation's  /dev directory, aren't
you? 
If you are using LTSP 3.0, devfs is being used instead. No more mknods
in the workstation's rc.local script. If you take a look at
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/rc.local, you'll see "/sbin/devfsd /dev" near the top
of the file. This creates the dev filesystem. I suppose that some
"chmod" lines after that one should work for your purposes. (please
someone correct me if I'm wrong).
