Greetings,

We're using LTSP as a component in a warehouse management system we
are building for a fulfillment house. So far it has worked
wonderfully, kudos to all the developers for making such a great
software package!

There's one thing that's been causing us a little difficulty. We have
two devices hooked up to the terminals; a barcode printer on the
parallel port, and a barcode scanner (the Symbol P360) on a serial
port. Making print queues via the PRINTER_0_* settings in
/etc/lts.conf works fine for the printer, and it works for the scanner
(which is a read-only device) as well. Unfortunately it only works
the first time I connect. If I telnet to the workstation's IP on port
9100 and initiate the data download, the data appears onscreen (with
extra linefeeds, for some reason) for as long as I stay connected. I
can do as many downloads as I need to. However, if I disconnect
(ctrl-], q) and reconnect, no data appears when I initiate download.
If I restart lp_server, it works again - until I disconnect and try to
reconnect.

Is this a feature? If so, how do I turn it off? I briefly scanned
the code for lp_server and didn't see anything that would cause this
behavior.

Thanks,
- Adam Wiggins
