The same site also has a link to:

http://www.businesswire.com/cgi-bin/f_headline.cgi?bw.010702/220072736

Which in turn, links to:

http://www.thincomputinginc.com

The above site gives details of a Commercial RDP V5.1 client for Linux,
that connects to NT4/W2000 Terminal Server systems as well as XP
Professional/server systems.

Whilst not suggesting that LTSP users pay for commercial software instead
of using a free RDP client such as Rdesktop (works fine for us), it is
interesting to note that RDP V5.1 on WindowsXP supports sound, local
printing, 24bit colour etc, so there may be some potential for such
features to be added to Rdesktop, if it could be developed to support RDP
V5.1

I shall try to find out more info about RDP V5.1, particularly things
such as the availability of the Tech Specs, etc.

Regards,
Nigel Pallett.
