Sorry, i forgott to post that part, I have
X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL = "Microsoft"
X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/ttyS0"
just like we have set in school where we use LTSP, there it works fine.

Well, I did specify it, but it is not loaded, tested like your next comment.

lsmod does only show ne and 8390 for the NIC

It just gives me a "Can't open dependencies file
/lib/modules/2.4.9-ltsp-5/modules.dep (No such file or directory)" and
nothing changes.

I tried that, but i get the same as with modporbe and afterwards a "ERROR!
loading module: serial failed !".
So what am I missing? Do I nett the .dep file? I cannot locate it in my ltsp
dir, did I just miss/did not untar/deleted by accident/moved that one? I
think we have the same error in school when loading some modules, but they
still work (I think so, but I am not 100% sure!)
Again thanks for any help and your Time ;-)

(sorry Jim for sending it twice, but i forgott to change the address to the
