Hi Marvin,

I have CUPS installed and configured on my LTSP server and it is working
very well. Is CUPS installed and did you configure the printer using
CUPS on your LTSP server? If not, that is the first step. I can't tell
from your email whether the printer is connected to your LTSP server or
another workstation on your network. If you can print to the printer
from your LTSP server all you need to do is reference that printer/print
queue from your LTSP workstation's application(s).

One of the advantage of CUPS is if you have postscript printers you can
use the .ps printer information files to take advantage of the advanced
features of a printer. For example I have a couple multifunction
digital copiers and by combining xpp with CUPS the users are able to use
duplexing, stapling, and other advanced features of the printers.

Hope that helps,
