it is not a esd and also not a Netscape Problem,
I'm using nasd and netscape plays wav,mp3,avi,mpeg-video with sound
but Flash is always without sound - so it is a Flash-problem.
The same with Realplayer or other browsers, they all play sounds
but flash is always without sound.
I guess the flash-plugin is ignoring the $LD_PRELOAD
how many terminals with sound do you have ?
Sound is a real bandwith-hog!
