Hi!
Many people in the world do not use US keyboards,
so customizing the lts.conf file for this should be quite
common. Could these things be set in in the default
template? I have
XkbModel = "pc105"
XkbLayout = "dk"
But maybe
XkbModel = "pc101"
XkbLayout = "us"
would be a good default, and then in the lts.conf.readme
file you could write something about that for example in Denmark
you should substitute the XkbModel with "pc105" and the
XkbLayout value with "dk". Could something like that be
added to the next version, Jim?
Another issue is the console keyboard. This is also most
annoying when you try to set up the X interface, and I would like
it to be there. It is a number of files to get all the
keyboards.
Could one reuse this from the server OS, by some symbolic link?
Or is this not possible due to the chroot? Then a hard link?
Or is it not safe due to the client kernel and server kernel/OS
possibly being different? Or what other solution is the best?
Kind regards
keld
