What version of DHCP is installed ?
Is it running ?
I have dhcp-2.0pl5-8 installed, and the process "dhcpd" shows up
in the process lists.
I see messages like this in my log :-
Dec 4 12:30:35 wizzydc dhcpd: Listening on Socket/eth2/192.168.0.0
Dec 4 12:30:35 wizzydc dhcpd: Sending on Socket/eth2/192.168.0.0
Dec 4 12:34:15 wizzydc dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:60:97:1a:31:3d via eth2
Dec 4 12:34:15 wizzydc dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.4 to 00:60:97:1a:31:3d via eth2
