Which one of KDM, GDM, XDM is started and used systemwide is 
determined by the parameter DISPLAYMANAGER in /etc/rc.config

While your at it you might also consider changing DEFAULT_WM to 
set which window manager will be used, ie. kde, fvwm, icewm, ...

IMO however it is best to change this through the setup utility 
that comes with your distro, instead of editing rc.config 
manually.
