What is mosix looking for specifically? Is it looking for a fqdn from the dns?
Or just a computer name (netbios type computer name?) If your dynamically assigning IP addresses you'll have to setup DDNS to update the DNS server with the New IP address whenever the lease expires and/or a new IP address is resolved by the Terminal.
