I'll try.

As long as you're not using nis or pamldap on the wks the users who 
exist on it are the ones in /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/passwd . If you also use 
nis or ldap everything changes. To create a user on the wks, create it 
on the server (since you'll need the user there as well) and cp the line 
over to the ltsp passwd file
