When I read my previous post, I saw that the kernels in your setup was
located at /tftpboot/lts. Even if my summary was correct, the change
in /etc/inetd.conf I suggested, will not work.

A line in /etc/inetd.conf as

/usr/sbin/in.tftpd /tftpboot /tftpboot/lts

Together with a line in the relevant "host" section /etc/dhcpd.conf as

filename /tftpboot/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-5

will work, provided the kernels are in /tftpboot/lts.

I use to store kernels in a separate directory in /opt/ltsp tree
(/opt/ltsp/tftpboot), since I find /tftpboot ugly. As long as you have
the same paths in /etc/inetd.conf as /etc/dhcpd.conf you can place
those kernels wherever you want to.
