Try this
Make sure that you have tftpboot not tftboot (it should have a p)
If that doesn't you need to drop the leading tftpboot in your dhcp.conf because by default tftp is looking in the tftpboot dir so when you tell it /tftpboot/lts/kernel.name it is looking in /tftpboot/tftpboot/lts/kernel.name which doesn't exist

i still have problems with TFTP and LTSP 3.0
If The Client starts, i get a error message "TFTP error 1 (file not found)". The TFTP can not found the boot kernel. But i set the right path to the file in the dhcpd.conf "tftboot/lts/kernelname"
