Hi,

>From your description, it sounds like the utmp entries that are being made
are not distinguishing which workstation they are coming from.

for example, here is a sampling of the "last" command on my server

olsonk xprojcl4:0 Tue Apr 30 12:17 - 12:27 (00:10)
mcallisq xprojcl6:0 Tue Apr 30 12:15 still logged in

notice the different displays in the second field. Does your "last"
command output show a distinct display for each login??

maybe you could send some output from the "last" command so I could take a
look. also, try running
echo $DISPLAY
from a couple of workstations and see what that returns.

Also, a month or two ago, someone posted some changes that he needed to
make to make this work on a different distribution (I am using RedHat)
Check the mailing list archives for those updates. If you can't find them,
let me know and I might be able to dig them up.

Thanks,
Derek
