Peter, i can help with point 1.: netscapehas a plugin for adobe pdf, and if it doesn't you can download linux version (4.05) reader from www.adobe.com. attachments are dealt with by use of openoffice, that is, if you use k12ltsp distro. if not, createyour own links for netscape / mozilla for the file types you want handled in specific ways. julius
