        Well, after some hours of work I was able to see
a 396 with 4M working with LTSP.

        The main point is that you need to recompile
something like "The smallest kernel in the world"(TM).
I did need to disable almost everything, including
serial and parallel ports, and support just one
ethernet card: NE2000.

        Also, I did need to comment out some lines
in inittab of the ltsp workstations.
