I was wondering if people are successfully running openoffice (or
staroffice) through ltsp (on the server)
I'm trying to do it with openoffice 1.0 and it keeps locking up on me
I suspect it's because my test ltsp server is only a Pentium 166 with 64Mb
RAM
Running 'top' looks like openoffice is trying to use at least 28 Mb by
itself - with sawfish and nautilus (and their apps) grabbing more RAM, it
looks like I'm overloading my server (time to upgrade my test server to a
new machine)
Just thought I'd check to see that my evaluation is correct and that others
are, in fact, successfully using openoffice on workstations
