Find your lts.conf and modify the settings for your workstation

The defaults are listed at the top

Try using different XSERVER settings

Here are some to try (uncomment the lines to enable them):
[ws006]
       XSERVER         = vesa
#       XSERVER         = vga
#        XSERVER         = svga
#        X_HORZSYNC      = 31.5-48.5
#        X_VERTREFRESH   = 50-60
#       X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8
        X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL   = "Microsoft"
        X_MOUSE_DEVICE     = "/dev/ttyS0"
        X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 50
#       X_MOUSE_BUTTONS    = 3
        LOCAL_APPS         = N
        USE_NFS_SWAP       = N
        SWAPFILE_SIZE      = 64m
#       RUNLEVEL           = 3
#       RUNLEVEL           = 4  # telnet
        RUNLEVEL           = 5
