Dennis,

You need to go back to a slightly older ltsp kernel package.

The ltsp_kernel-3.0.3 package has a problem with 486's.
the ltsp_kernel-3.0.1 works just fine.

If you hit the Shift-PageUp key after the panic, you can
scroll further back in the kernel messages, and you'll
see where it fails to load the initrd.
