You can run  maybe three or four tc's off that

I don't know about Mandrake, but Red Hat Linux 7.2 had some problems that went away 
when I dsiabled fam and Klipper
This only happened with a remote X type setup like LTSP. I haven't tried with 7.3 and 
KDE3.

Never seen that. Does KDE or Gnome appear on the client screen and some programs on 
the server's screen?

You will not get TuxRacer to run across the network, I don't think. It's massive 
bitmaps that fly across your screen, no?
