Mozilla is a much better browser than IE. And for plugins...get Crossover. Works great. Yes I know that that isn't the best option and costs some $$$ but until companies like Macromedia, etc figure it out and start developing plugins for Mozilla/Linux thats the way its going to be. As for the other apps you mention I have to ask one question - At what cost?
