Hi
I have a client (compaq p75 3c509b ISA) which boots with the initial message:
Probing...[3C5x93c509: eeprom busy.
(probe fail)3c509: eeprom busy.
(probe fail)3c5x9 board on ISA at 0x0300 - 10baseT
Then goes on to conntact the dhcpd, the kernel is loaded, lots of messages (that
mostly ends
with OK) are displayed and then:
VFS: Cannot open root device "ram0" or 01:00
Please append right "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:00
My dhcpd.conf:
host ws002 {
hardware ethernet 00:A0:24:51:C1:03;
fixed-address 192.168.0.241;
filename "/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-6";
option option-128 e4:45:74:68:00:00;
option option-129 "NIC=3c509";
}
And my lts.conf:
[ws002]
XSERVER = auto
LOCAL_APPS = N
USE_NFS_SWAP = Y
SWAPFILE_SIZE = 48m
RUNLEVEL = 3
USE_XFS = Y
