I understand...

However all is not lost. A good way to start is to run Gimp for windows,
OpenOffice for Windows and AbiWord for Windows. Make copies on CD-Roms and
send them home with all your kids. You're still using the MS OS but you've
taken a big step in showing the value of free software.
