I just sent the list an email regarding this very topic. You have already received atleast the one email explaining that there will be a need for a dhcp server for each 'office' that you will have. I have done this using the leaf project, floppy based router/firewall, works like a dream. I can assist you with this if you want to get it working. There will be a couple of lines that you will need to add to your dhcpd.conf file within the leaf box, and I recommend running IPSec as well to connect the offices together. If you do decided to do something with this, let me know, I'd also recommend getting a disk on module (16mb solid-state harddrive) from Nagasaki, I'll find you the link if necessary, cheap and great for this type of work. It can be done, although in my test area, the biggest problem I found was speed across the internet. Its possible, but depending on your bandwidth available, may not be very practical.
