|Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] KDE problem
|
|Hi
|
|I think that my problem is related to LTS. I have Redhat 7.2 as the
|server. Because I don't have enough ip addresses I added eth0:0 alias
|with private IP number 192.168.100.1 and my dhcp serves addresses from
|this network. I also have sound setup working. When i log in from the
|server console everything is fine. But when I log in from the terminal,
|KDE do not remember some settings, especially most important is keyboard
|layout. Sometimes it is loosing desktop icons positions. But not always.
|Does anybody had the same problem ?
|
How do you start your X session, do you do /tmp/start_ws or do you login
through [x,g,k]dm ? I noticed on Debian this makes a difference.
