Shane, the Chips and Technologies 65550 chipset is supported both by X3.3.6 and X4.1.0.
Setting XSERVER = auto should be ok, it should load the 'chips' XFree86 4.1.0 driver. You could force it by setting 'XSERVER = chips'. If you want to capture the output to a file, you could turn on NFS Swap, which mounts the /var/opt/ltsp/swapfiles filesystem. Then, when you run start_ws, do it like this: sh /tmp/start_ws >/tmp/swapfiles/start_ws.out 2>&1 Then, on the server, you should end up with /var/opt/ltsp/swapfiles/start_ws.out Jim.
