Hello,

At our location, we have several 810 chipset motherboards, the X on
these machines crash when you switch form a terminal to X (CTRL-ALT-F1
to Alt-F7).

We have made the following changes and it still crashes.

       XSERVER = i810
       X_MODE_0 = 800x600 40 800 840 968 1056 600 601 605 628 +hsync
+vsync
       X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL = PS/2
       X_MOUSE_DEVICE = /dev/psaux
       X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 400
       X_MOUSE_BUTTONS = 3
       USE_XFS = N
       LOCAL_APPS = N
       RUNLEVEL = 5
       MODULE_01 =
/lib/modules/2.4.9-ltsp-5/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o
       X_VIDEORAM = 2048

Note: We have not added the sound modules since we do not want sound
enabled on the clients.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Regards
Prakash
