Hello List, I have recently attempted to implimnet an installation of LTS on a test platform and have run into an issue that I need assistance with. First here is what I have done. I have followed the instructions in the LTSP Documentation almost to the letter. I have done the installation of the server rpms and have had the windows DHCP server setup with the following:
Created a reservation on the DHCP server for my workstations MAC address with a static ip address. All the standard information is passed to it with the addition of these options. 017 root-path 172.16.50.3:/opt/ltsp/i386 066 Boot Server Host Name 172.16.50.3 067 Bootfile Name /lts/vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-6 I then created a Etherboot disk from Rom-O-Matic (kewl tool!), and booted the workstation. This is where I run into a problem. It finds everything up to a point. When it tries to access the root-path I am getting /opt/ltsp/i386000 and the process stops at this point. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? Thanks in advance.
