 I haven't experienced these problems and in fact I'm using it currently
at three schools. You might want to compile using only the stealth patch
(located at:  www.sd73.bc.ca/tux/rfb). Jason's patch contains the stealth
plus a "consent" option. If you're just looking for stealth you might want
to give the other patch I try to see if it makes any difference. Also it
is important that you patch against the 0.61 version of x0rfbserver and
not any other version...
