Not long at all - much quicker than any version of Windows on any box I've ever used. We have 24 machines served by a single P4 1.6G desktop machine as the server. I haven't done any timings but I would guess about 20 seconds from the bios finishing it's memory counting etc to a login screen appearing on the workstation.
