im using ltsp in 2 computerrooms on 36 clients. some of them are 486 cpu with 16 and
32 mb ram on a 10mbit ethernet. to make them work, i use nfs swapping over ethernet.
(works fine!). ther are sveral programs running on my server eg kde30, openoffice1.0,
mozilla 1,gimp aso...
my pupils are at the age between 12 and 14. for them it is no problem to work on
linux. the only difference between working on ms an linux machines is the doubleclick
:-). i think that the only problem using linux in schools is to convince teachers to
learn a new os.
