I have Gnome, KDE, and xfce, and using gdm I can choose which one I want
to use when I log in. I invariably use xfce now - everything just runs
quicker. What's missing? The only thing I notice is that I can't drag
and drop applications or files onto the desktop and double click on them
to run them. Small price to pay.
