hi all, hope you can help me.
i have a little problem with the lts. when booting the client with a boot disk, the kernel is loaded but the mounting of the root filesystem doesn't work. the following is written on the screen: running dhclient eth0: setting 100mbs full duplex... mounting root filesystem:/opt/ltsp/i386 from 192.109.135.xyz (null)mount: nfsmount failed: bad file number NFS: mount program didn't pass remote address! mount: mounting 192.109.135.zxy:/opft/ltsp/i386 on /MNT failed: invalid argument. the ltsp is running under mandrake 8.2, i've installed the latest ltsp-packages from ltsp.org. the dhcp-server is not the same as the ltsp-server. (i managed to get this running by the next server statement in the dhcpd.conf file.) nfs, portmap and mount are all installed corectly and are running. any idea on this ? bye, frank [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Two, two, TWO treats in one. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
