How someone has seen this before I have not been able to find anything about this problem i am seeing. Here is my setup: I am running suse 8.0 on a dell optiplex 1.2 gigz with 384 megs of memory. I am running it with bootp server and I get the workstation to boot and start loading the kernel and just seems about to open the graphical display and then it starts looking for another dhcp server. I can not find out why it is doing this when it is getting its ip from the server and loading kernel. Anyone have any ideas on what I can try to get it from trying to get another ip? The last thing is this: Error dhclient failed kernel panic: Attempted to kill init If anyone has any ideas how to resovle this issue please let me know I am so close.
