  Yes, I know, my main concern was beeing able to mount arbitrary NFS
directories and beeing able to run locally what application I choose to, that
there are LTSP packages ready for the job or not.  I chose Netscape because
it's a self-contained application, that is, it only needs the files in it's
own directory to run in a basic environment, but in the future I plan to
extend the concept to run locally other stuff, mainly sound applications.
  As far as Netscape is concerned, I still have to figure out why cannot it
resolve host names, could it be that I have to review the NIS configuration?
  I'll download and unpack the tar file you pointed out to me to see if I get
any clue out of it.
