What about /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers? You're not getting _anything_ on the remote box, right? Mine looks like: #:0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X -deferglyphs 16 pokey:0 foreign (I have only one terminal. It's named "pokey.") I'm not sure right off whether GDM is dependant on this particular config file or not. XDM and KDM both are. -- Michael McIntyre zone 6b in SW VA Silvan Pagan umount /mnt/windows;mke2fs /dev/hde1;tune2fs -j /dev/hde1 www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/index.html ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
