[Ltsp-discuss] problem getting local apps working

ltsp is working fine in that I can use a diskless workstation as a terminal to the ltsp server and run the gnome desktop etc.   However I am trying to get ltsp to run local apps.   As an initial test I have tried to rsh to my diskess workstation(WS001) i.e. rsh ws001 uptime   The system replies   'connection refused'.  Does anyone know why?   (I can rsh to and from the other machines on the lan. ltsp.conf is set up for local apps and nis is working okay.) I am running rh 7.3 on all machines.
