thanx james. i did another kernel compilation, i used the config file that came with initrd 3.01. i used inird enabled with. set it to 1024. coz i got directory permission denied with 4096 initial ram disk. now i got unable to open initial console. i did include the /dev file system support. hope you can give the the pointer. i got different errors over and over like my friends here. thanks a lot... can u email me a working .config file? coz im working on my project. ltsp with openmosix enabled sounds to be cool and perfect. thanks a lot. hope to hear from you ASAP.
