Kenny, The Xserver runs on the workstation.
By default, the client applications run on the server, displaying their output to the workstation. Classic X terminal, basically. You can run apps directly on the workstation. This requires installing the ltsp_local_apps package, and setting up NIS. The biggest problem with setting up local apps is getting the libraries that you need for the app. LTSP 3.0 was built using glibc from a Redhat 7.0 system. So, any libs you need should be taken from a RH7.0 system. I'm working on LTSP v3.1, which will use glibc 2.2.5 from sources, rather than stealing from redhat.
