Joseph, Sharing the local printer is easy. Check the LTSP-3.0 docs for information on that.
Sharing the local cd is much harder. There's a few ways to do it, with ENBD and NFS. I've not tried to use the local CD, so I can't really offer any advice here. If you want to use PXE, download the pxestuff.tgz package from the LTSP.org download page. There's some information in that package that shows you how to do it.
